This year marks the launch of our exciting new travel brand, and we're thrilled to introduce two exclusive 10-day journeys in the stunning Alps. While these are our debut trips under this new name, rest assured, we bring with us years of experience and expertise from our past adventures. We invite you to join us for an unforgettable late summer experience, where you’ll discover the true beauty of the Alps, away from the crowds. Let us guide you on a journey filled with unique encounters and discoveries.
Our guests should enjoy being in nature and be fit enough to hike for 2-3 hours, with short ascents and descents, including on unpaved paths with stones and roots. We assure we will take it slow and include breaks along the way, so our guests don’t have to be super athletic or highly sportive. But hiking implicitly should be something enjoyable for you and not cause major discomfort. There will be several moderate hikes where a certain level of fitness is necessary. Some of the sites we’ll visit are only accessible by foot, and although we avoid planning hikes in very exposed or steep terrain you should feel comfortable on narrow mountain paths and also not fear bad weather.
We want to give you just enough to spark your curiosity and anticipation, offering enticing glimpses of the experiences that await on this trip. While we share some of the highlights—breathtaking landscapes, cultural discoveries, and authentic moments—we’re also holding back a few surprises to keep the excitement building. Like a Christmas present waiting to be unwrapped, we believe this element of surprise will only enhance your adventure.
Your journey begins in Zurich, where you’ll stay one night. The day after we'll travel to the region of Graubünden (Canton Grisons) in eastern Switzerland. For four nights, you will stay in a remote but luxurious mountain lodge, offering a perfect blend of comfort and nature. Nestled in a breathtaking location, the lodge provides an ideal centrally located base for exploring the surrounding regions.
Over the course of these days, we have planned a variety of incredible activities. Experience majestic gorges, glaciers, and dive into the local mythology on prehistoric sites. Immerse yourself in the region’s cultural heritage through performances of traditional folklore music and indulge in delicious farm-to-table meals. Enjoy outdoor dining experiences that bring you closer to the pristine surroundings. During all this we will offer mindful relaxation programs, helping you unwind and connect. As a highlight, we will take you to the beautiful Engadine Valley, a place renowned for its unique beauty.
After your time in Graubünden, it's time to board the iconic Glacier Express. This world-famous train ride will take you through some of the most stunning landscapes Switzerland has to offer, as you make your way to the equally spectacular mountains of Canton Wallis.
Upon arrival, you will stay in a quaint mountain village, where you'll sleep in cozy, single-room chalets. This peaceful setting offers the perfect retreat, surrounded by stunning peaks. This location is the ideal setting to deepen the process we started for your body, mind and soul.
Over the next four days, we will be further exploring the remarkable Canton Valais through a variety of authentic experiences.
Visit local cheesemakers and taste the finest Swiss cheeses, indulge in delicious Raclette, and enjoy the hauntingly beautiful sounds of alphorn tunes echoing through the valleys. Discover underground lakes and lush green alpine pastures. We still will leave you time to relax by crystal-clear rivers, soaking in the serenity of this region.
You’ll need to be in Zurich on the first Saturday of your trip (either AUG 23 or SEPT 6), aiming to arrive in the morning. If you're coming directly from overseas, your flight will likely land in the morning. We have a beautiful hotel reserved for one night, and we'll spend the day exploring vibrant Zurich, with an opportunity to get to know each other.
The following day, Sunday, we’ll head to the mountains for our adventure, and the official program will conclude the next Monday morning in the Canton of Valais.
Afterward, we can either accompany you back to Zurich, continue the journey with you if you choose to extend your trip with us and explore other iconic destinations, or arrange travel to your next European stop.
Once we receive your booking, we will confirm its receipt and make every effort to contact you within a few days. Please be sure to review the dates and booking timelines, as well as the required payments outlined in the detailed offer and terms and conditions above. We aim to ensure a smooth and timely process, and will keep you informed every step of the way.
While our tailored 10-day program takes you to hidden gems off the beaten path, we understand that some guests may want to explore Switzerland’s most famous sites as well. If this is your first visit to Switzerland, iconic destinations like Zermatt, the Aletsch Glacier, Grindelwald, or the charming cities of Lucerne and Bern might be on your list. We’re happy to discuss your preferences and help you create an extended program that complements your trip. Let us know your wishes, and we’ll gladly assist in organising and booking - and perhaps we can also accompany part of the trip.
